About SkyHeinz

My name is Dom. I am an engineer, a husband, a father of three, and a frequent traveller who has lived across Europe, the US, and now Singapore.

As someone who has spent countless hours on planes, I have always been fascinated by what happens behind the scenes to keep aviation safe. One thing always struck me: the two most critical sources of information in aviation — voice communications and aircraft position data — exist in completely separate worlds. Controllers hear voices on their frequency. Radar screens show positions. But nobody sees both at once, and nobody hears all frequencies at the same time.

That gap is where SkyHeinz was born. What if an AI could listen to every ATC frequency simultaneously, combine it with real-time flight positions, and flag potential safety issues before they become incidents? Conflicting clearances on different frequencies. Callsign confusion between similar-sounding flights. Missed readbacks that go unnoticed. These are things no single human controller can catch — but an AI listening to everything at once could.

The first step is building the best ATC speech recognition model in the world. And for that, we need your help. Every transcription you confirm or correct makes the AI smarter. Together, we are building something that could make flying safer for everyone.
